” I was born in Ostfriesland in Northern Germany and came to England early in 1954. I lived in Canada for many years where I established a Graphic Design Practice in Toronto. Eventually I returned to UK and began to develop an interest in clay. I love to draw and ‘play’ with clay. My pottery is low fired earthenware and I use my glazes as a painter might lay colour on a canvas: I love simple shapes and colour. I was educated at Goldsmiths and the Central School in London. I work in Northam, North Devon. My work is in collections in the United States, Canada, Holland, France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Bosnia, Iceland, Australia and New Zealand. I contribute regularly to Saatchi online. ”
