The CFA Artist of the Year contest and grant is now open for submissions.
Through this contest, 15 artists will be selected for a list of CFA Artist of the Year 2025 titles and awards including publication in ArtIDEAL digital and hardcover art book, published interview and feature on our website which receives an average of 35-55,000 monthly views.
Artists working in all fine art disciplines and from any location can submit their artwork which will be reviewed according to technical, aesthetic and creative standards.

Can you advise me which images to add to this contest?
We cannot advise you which images to add to this contest as it would be unfair to other participants.
Can I submit work that I submitted in a previous Circle project?
Yes you can.
Does the work have to be available for sale/show?
It is not necessary for the submitted work to be available for sale.
Does the work have to be created this year?
It is not necessary for the submitted work to have been created this year.
Do I need to ship my work?
No. This project is online-only. No artworks need to be shipped to us. We only ask you to submit the photographs of your artworks.
How many images can I add to this contest?
You can add up to 10 images each time you complete the form.
What payments do you accept?
PayPal or Card.
How much is Euros to Dollars?
20Euro is about $21. Please check Euro to Dollar conversion on google for the exact rate or check another currency.
When will the contest results be announced?
The contest results will be announced in February 2025.
When will the next issue of Art IDEAL book be published?
The winning artists will be published in Art IDEAL book by May/June 2025.
Is this the first Artist of the Year contest, organized by CFA?
No, this is the 6th CFA Artist of the Year contest we are holding. You can see the previous contest previously awarded artists here.
What if I don't win this contest?
Besides the 3 winning artists, 12 more artists will be selected as Contest Finalists to receive Certificate, publication on our website for 1 year and 1 page in the next issue of Art IDEAL hardcover book. All participating artists will receive a unique and signed Participation Certificate. A great advantage of submitting your work is that we see it, we get to know it and then we can keep you in mind for a project we feel is fit for your work.
Copyrights, Commissions, etc.
The artist keeps 100% of their copyrights but allows us to publish the works on our website, for the purposes of the contest. For any sales that may come as a result of your inclusion on our website, we do not take any commission.
Through this contest, the selected artists will receive the CFA Artist of the Year 2025 award titles.
