“Graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2004, London-based 26 year old Joanna Pallaris is a photographer and Illustrator. Her layered illustrative work often has elements of distortion and combines detailed imagery with underlying narratives. Her inspiration stems from European cinema (particularly the French new wave), fleamarkets, music, vintage photography and strange curiosities. In a recent Polaroid series she explores the theme of time and loss in an increasingly fragile medium.”
