Michael Shapcott was born in 1982. He studied illustration for two years before switching to fine arts. Michael graduated in 2007. Known for his daring color palette and emotionally charged portraits, Michael’s work deals with highly detailed graphite underdrawings, which he then paints with colorful washes in oil and acrylic paints.
