“I don’t focus on any particular subject but I seem to have gravitated towards wildlife, Chester Zoo in particular is easy to get to so naturally I take a lot of my photographs there. I tend to use a lot more post processing now than when I first started … hadn’t even heard of Photoshop when I started … nothing wrong in enhancing your photo’s, the pro’s do it all the time.
When I was a child my father ran a photography shop and used to give lectures around the North West of England, our garden shed was his darkroom. I didn’t get my DSLR until after he passed away, I so wish I had taken it up while he was still alive, I would have loved his opinion of my photo’s.”
