“The Couch series follows this self imposed minimalistic approach and is part of a larger book project with the intent of creating a set of unique images based around a nude body and a simple piece of furniture. For each image in the series it is important that for each piece of furniture the images are all shot with the same back ground, very simple lighting (never more than two lights), and for the most part even the same frame. I really love the consistency of this approach and the beauty that exists within such a simple framework…”
