“All elements of my work are photographed by me (I do not use any “stock” images at all) and then edited in Adobe Photoshop.
Through the manipulation of images and the overlaying of textures, most of my work ends up looking like paintings (and most of my influences are painters too – from Old Masters such as Carravaggio to more recent ones like Klimt and Odd Nerdrum) but it is in the realm of photography and I consider myself a Photographer much more than a Digital Artist (although technically – I am both..)
I am intrigued by the virtually limitless possibilities that can be done digitally to a picture, yet I always seek to make the end result look organic and natural…..”
