Brian Despain born in the far reaches of Upper Michigan. Started drawing since he could hold a pencil and never stopped again. He’s been doing almost every kind of art form, from graphic design, illustration, designing video games and painting. Now he’s focussing on his fine art career, drawing, painting and sculpting. Brian often uses a symbolic visual vocabulary within his image making. His work reflects the stories in his head, retains a dark humor but also a sense of melancholy. I love the colors, robots and surreal scenes in his work.
